J Smith Installations agrees to supply and/or install racking, mezzanine floors and associated works as per the agreed quotation.

 

Any additional work requested outside of the original quotation will be charged separately and must be agreed in writing.

 

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

 

J Smith Installations may engage subcontractors to complete part or all of the works.

 

Where the company is subcontracted by a Client, J Smith Installations will perform the works in line with the agreed scope but is not responsible for delays, defects or failures caused by other trades or contractors.

 

J Smith Installations complies with relevant UK Health & Safety legislation.

 

The Client must ensure safe access to site, suitable working conditions and compliance with site-specific health & safety requirements.

 

Any delays caused by unsafe working conditions or site inaccessibility may result in additional charges.

 

Completion dates are estimates only. J Smith Installations is not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by delays. 

 

The Company will provide its own hand tools and standard installation equipment required to complete the Works.

 

Where specialist plant, access equipment, or heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes) is required, the Client is responsible for providing such machinery on site in safe working order and in compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations

 

If the Client cannot provide the necessary machinery, the Company may arrange hire at the Client’s expense.
